VillageMD-Georgia supports providers across Georgia to deliver higher-value care, using solutions and services that improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient and physician satisfaction, and lower the total cost of care. VillageMD-Georgia is a result of a collaboration between VillageMD and Quality Care Providers, Inc. (QCPI), the largest independent primary care physician network in Georgia.
VillageMD-Georgia is building an independent provider network that leverages VillageMD’s data analytics, physician-based care coordination, and on-the-ground support resources for significantly greater clinical improvements at a lower total cost of care. VillageMD’s clinical care model aids its physician partners in providing more personalized attention, education, and support to patients via integrated care teams of health coaches, diabetes educators, pharmacists, and resource coordinators to address patients’ medical, emotional and social needs. This high-value model of care is proven to drive results across multiple markets and across all patient populations – commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid.

I spend my days: Managing our network physicians and payor relationships with contracts consisting of capitation, fee for service and value-based programs.
My experience: I have spent the majority of my career with QCPI, assisting with initial development and for the past 16 years as Executive Director and Physician Network Director. QCPI’s longstanding, innovative clinical quality programs are well recognized in the community, and has given me great familiarity with the Atlanta primary care physician community.
I spend my days: Serving as QCPI’s President and CMO, and introducing our physicians to an integrated system of population health management. I believe the VillageMD model will bring unique clinical and analytic resources to assist our practices in delivering consistent, coordinated care to their patients.
My experience: I have been a primary care physician for over 30 years, focusing on delivering the highest quality care to my patients. I have also assisted in the development and implementation of quality improvement programs in multiple clinical and administrative roles to lower costs and deliver better care to patients.
