VillageMD Pharmacy Residency Program

VillageMD Pharmacy PGY2 Population Health Management and Data Analytics Pharmacy Residency Program

The PGY2 residency in Population Health Management and Data Analytics (PHMDA) builds upon PGY1 residency graduates’ competence in the delivery of patient-centered care and support of optimal medication therapy outcomes.

Our program trains residents to integrate health information, data analytics, and Population Health outcome measurement to inform decisions surrounding implementation and scaling of pharmacy services.

Residents will utilize proprietary data analytics tools and work across teams to analyze and interpret pharmacy data. Graduates are adept in discovering and optimizing synergy between clinical knowledge, information technology, and population health management for advanced patient care.

Residents who successfully complete our program will be equipped to function in a multifaceted professional environment, apply pharmacoeconomic principles, and data analytics to create, implement, and optimize population health care initiatives designed to improve health outcomes of patients in value-base care models.
